Case study
Each student will be assigned a case study, where the student has to critically think about the clinical case presented to them and answer questions on that case. Below are the requirements and regulations of these case studies:
- The case studies will be available on iCollege under the quizzes tab
- Dr. Hollier may submit your responses to www.turnitin.com .
- The availability is listed in the class schedule.
- You will be required to use the Lockdown Browser and Respondus Monitor on this assignment.
- You will have 120 minutes to complete this assignment. Once started the timer will continue to count down even if you leave the assignment. You must complete it once started. There is no entering and exiting this assignment to complete at a later date.
- You have a single attempt on the case study.
- Students are to work on their case study alone and are NOT to work in groups (violation of this WILL result in the consequences listed in the cheating and plagiarism section of this syllabus for ALL students who work on the case study). You are not to discuss your case study with other students during the time frame the case study assignment is open.
- Make sure you adhere to the requirements in this course relating to cheating and/or plagiarism.
- Violation of any of these rules WILL earn you a grade of zero.
The Lockdown Browser with a webcam is required for the case study in iCollege. Refer to the section “Respondus Lockdown Browser with Respondus Monitor” for more information.
